MST3K VIDEO
VAULT
Being a huge fan of the show, I have been watching and taping MST3K since 1990. Below is a listing of what I have available on tape and DVD. 18 excellent 2nd generation copies of the ultra-rare KTMA TV23 episodes, ALL of the Comedy Central and Sci-Fi Channel episodes seasons 1 through 10, plus 30 videos of rare and unusual MST3K items not easily available. I've been doing this for a long, long time. Many other people on the internet offering some of these same items either directly or indirectly got them from me originally.
DVDs:
DVD transfers are made from my original 1st generation SP or S-VHS recordings and run through a digital time base corrector for a clear jitter-free transfer that you won't see with many other homemade DVDs. They are then burned on high grade DVD-R disks in Dolby 2.0 Stereo.
Every DVD has menus with Chapter Selection and bonus features such as: Photo Gallery, Cast and Crew information, Television Promos and a built-in MST3K Episode Guide.
All DVD come with hard-shell plastic slip-cover cases designed to perfectly compliment your existing MST3K DVD collection. The DVD disks have titles and logo printed directly on the DVD disk, not stickers that will fade and wrinkle over time.

Tapes:
Almost every single episode I have (excluding the KTMAs and some of the Rarity tapes) is a 1st generation tape that I personally recorded when it originally aired. Nearly all of the recordings were made from a crystal-clear digital satellite broadcast on high grade tapes in SP mode. Some even in Super-VHS.
Tape copies are made two 4-head stereo VCRs in SP mode (1 episode per tape). I use new name-brand tapes (usually Maxell or Sony), which are nicely labeled with laser printed decals on the spine, like this:

KTMA TV23
These are the episodes that started it all for MST3K. Originally done at a tiny Minneapolis/St. Paul UHF station, only local Minnesota residents ever got to view or tape these show. A half hour pilot and 21 full episodes were made between 1988 & 89. Only 18 of these episodes have been found and are circulating among MSTies.
All but one of my KTMA copies I got directly from Minnesota residents who taped the episodes when they originally aired. I'm responsible for putting four of the 18 episodes in to general circulation. Anyone who has those copies got them through me. The quality of my copies is excellent. You won't find any better on the web.

  FAN MSTings
DVD VHS  MST3K: The Home Game (R-17)
#1 (4pm)  Sci-fi Channel special in which MSTies riff on the movie "The Day the World Ended" via Internet chat rooms. Instead of host segments, Mike Nelson and Kevin Murphy give a sneak peek at the sets and behind-the-scenes. There were two airings, 4pm and 11pm with the same behind the scenes clips but different riffs during the movie.
#2 (11pm)

DVD VHS  Fan MSTing of Battle of the Worlds (R-26)
Fan MSTing of the movie Battle of the Worlds, which stars Claude Rains from Casablanca fame. Not the same MSTies who did Star Trek V or Highlander 2, but just as cheesy.

DVD VHS  Fan MSTing of Little Red Riding Hood (R-31)
Very well done MSTing. Great props and sets. Pretty good riffing on a Mexican version of Little Red Riding Hood, produce for US release by K. Gordon Murray, the same mn who brought us Mexican classic Santa Claus.

DVD VHS  Fan MSTing of Invasion of the Animal People  (R-32)
Same MSTies that did Little Red Riding Hood. This time its a goofy Finnish film about Aliens that release a monster in Lapland where it takes a woman captive and threatens a group of scientists.

Getting Episodes
  Trading
If you are interested in trading for some some of these videos, I'm always looking for copies of interesting MST3K items that I don't have listed above. In particular, TV promos for specific episodes from seasons 3 - 6, or older generic promos from seasons 1 - 3.
I'm also looking for any MST3K cast appearances at conventions or TV interviews not listed here. I have most items currently circulating, so the harder to find and more unusual it is, the better.
I would also be interested in the harder to find original Bot parts like Tom's Boo Bowl, doll hands or engine block, and desk lamps for Crow's shoulders.
  Purchasing
If you don't have anything to trade I ask for $8.50 per DVD and $7.50 per VHS tape plus $5 for shipping. Example: (4 DVD x 8.50 = 34 + 5 shipping = $39) On larger orders of 10 or more DVDs or tapes I pick up the shipping cost, then from there I start knocking down the price per tape as a discount.
You can use the Order Form on this page to calculate the total for you. Just select the episodes you're interested in, then check the order summary at the bottom of the page for your total.
You can edit and send the wish list form directly to me or create your own email, but please email me first at tapes@mst3kguy.com with your list before sending any trades or funds so I can review your request and begin working on your order ahead of time for faster service.
After you send your list, I will email you a confirmation and my mailing address along with payment options and details. Please include a brief note with your name, mailing address, and the list of episodes you wanted and in what format.
There is no waiting list for orders. Everyone's DVDs and tapes are done on a first-come-first-serve basis, but I will usually send them out a day or two after I get your payment. I WILL NOT keep you waiting for weeks on end like some people. If I'm really busy it may take a couple extra days. If you ask anyone who has dealt with me before they will tell you that I send them out in a very timely manner no matter how many you order.
